TickerNote provides market research, data, and computed signals for informational and educational purposes only. We are not registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, or financial planners. Nothing on this site, in our reports, in the on-demand analyzer, or from the AI tutor constitutes a personal recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and nothing here is tailored to your individual financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance.
Our technical indicators (e.g. moving averages, RSI, distance from 52-week range) are computed deterministically from price and volume data. They are mathematical descriptions of past and present price action — not forecasts. Any "BUY / HOLD / SELL" verdict, score, or entry / stop / target level shown anywhere in the product is a mechanical output of a published formula, illustrating how a textbook setup would be framed. It is not a recommendation for any individual and should not be acted on without your own due diligence.
The live paper portfolio and any backtest results use simulated (paper) money, do not account for transaction costs, slippage, taxes, or dividends, and may differ materially from real-world trading. Past performance — even when honestly reported — does not guarantee or indicate future results. Our out-of-sample testing has not demonstrated a durable, net-of-cost edge versus the market; any tilt measured so far is small and unproven after costs. Markets carry risk, including the risk of losing your entire investment.
Data is sourced from third parties (including yfinance, Finnhub, FRED, and SEC EDGAR) and is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Prices may be delayed. We do not guarantee that any figure shown is correct or current, and we are not liable for errors, omissions, or delays in the data or for any action taken in reliance on it.
Parts of the product use large language models (via Perplexity and Anthropic) to generate narrative analysis. AI output can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, including fabricated or mis-attributed citations. Treat any AI narrative as a starting point for your own research, not as fact.
