Draft — pending legal review. This policy is an internal working draft describing our current data practices in plain language. It has not been reviewed or approved by a lawyer and is not a substitute for legal advice.

We use your data to operate the service: to authenticate you, generate and deliver your reports, run the on-demand analyzer and AI tutor, send the emails and notifications you opt into, and to keep the service secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal data.
We rely on the following third-party providers to run TickerNote. Your data is processed by them only as needed to deliver the service, and each has its own privacy policy:
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Reports are kept on a rolling archive.
You can update your tickers and notification settings at any time from your dashboard, and you can opt out of emails and push notifications.
Self-serve data export and deletion are coming soon. We have not yet built in-product tools to export or delete all of your data, so we are not claiming that capability exists today. In the meantime, email hello@tickernote.com and we will action an export or deletion request manually.
Sensitive fields such as your email, uploaded portfolio, and AI conversations are encrypted at the application layer before storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we aim to follow sensible practices to protect your data.
We may update this policy as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Questions or requests: hello@tickernote.com.
